KV Judo Club has been a practising club since 1995. The club started with just a kid's class and has grown into three classes. The club was started by Jeff Porter, Craig MacDonald and James Trask and only six students from the ages 6 to 12. Today it is run by Sensei Andy MacBean.

Our club offers opportunities for both competitors and for those interested only in learning the art of Judo. We provide physical fitness, self defence techniques, opportunities for competitions, social interaction, discipline and, most importantly, a fun activity for all the enjoy.

KV Judo club has participated in numerous competitions, including Nationals, Quebec Open, Eastern Canadian, many provincial championships and the Canada Games. Our club has won the Blake Lumsden team competition and the Kiyokan kid's team challenge two years in a row.

The KV Judo Club is a member club of Judo NB, the governing body for Judo in New Brunswick. All of the clubs black belt instructors are registered with Judo NB and Judo Canada.
